Sally Sterling is a seasoned executive search consultant with more than 25 years of experience across a variety of sectors. Sally focuses on recruiting leaders for some of the most meaningful and impactful nonprofit organizations.
Over the course of her career, Sally has developed strong client and candidate relationships, professional facilitation skills and sensitivity to unique client circumstances, a commitment to diversity and broad executive talent reach and placement throughout multiple sectors. She is proud to measure the trust of her clients by the fact that many have returned to her for help with new searches. Sally’s career has included work in a museum and education institution in various administrative, educational and fundraising capacities. She began her career at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where she worked for eight years. In addition, she was a fundraiser at Case Western Reserve University. Sally has been a featured speaker at numerous convenings and conferences, including PBS, The Alliance of American Museums, The League of American Orchestras, The Council on Foundations and Independent Sector.
Sally is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of National Arts Strategies and a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization. Sally holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, where she also earned an M.B.A. from the University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
